The first 2 months of the year the Elder's Quorum (hereafter referred as EQ) Presdency consisted of Tylor More (President), Anthony Burgi(1st Councilor), Thad Jones (2nd Councilor) and Tanner Milne (Secretary). Anthony Burgi moved out of the ward and Steve Lesueur was made 2nd Councilor and then Tanner Milne moved out of the ward and Jeff Brummer became the Secretary. In September the EQ Presidency was reorganized and the following were called - Jeff Brummer (President), Brian Stephens (First Councilor), Steve Lesueur (2nd Councilor) and Jon Graff (Secretary).
We had a great year as a Quorum and enjoyed the blessings of the gospel and comrodary of the Brethren. Early in the year we had an Ice Cream Social at the Gissels home and had 20 show up to enjoy some frozen dairy delights with toppings. In November we had a EQ BBQ in which the Elders (and wives) made chili and we had a competition to see who had the best chili (Rachael Earl), hottest chili (Ryan Moats), most unique chili and best desert. We had 40-50 people show up including some non members and lesser actives. The Elders have enjoyed also playing basketball all year long on Tuesday nights. To date we have had no fights or major injuries so it has been a successful year.
We have had many great teachers instruct us in the hour we meet together as a Quorum including Brian Lawrence, Tylor More, Steve Lesueur, Thad Jones, Matt Tidwell, Jeff Brummer, Tanner Milne, Darren Peterson, Ryan Moats, Steven Powell, Brian Stephens and others. We also enjoyed seeing Levi Germaine receive the Melchizedek priesthood. Some new Elders that moved into the ward this year were Keith Hardy, Matt Sloan, Art Sherwood, Ed Clark, Joseph Hardwick, Bobby Pitts, Eric VanAusdal, Andrew Watts.
